How to Host a Gender Reveal Party
Although some people (like myself) don’t discover the gender of their baby until birth, others like to be prepared ahead of time, and learning their baby’s gender for the first time is a very exciting milestone. Throwing a gender reveal party, either for yourself or your best friend, is a moment you can treasure forever, and a memory you can share with all of your friends and family.
Although similar to a baby shower, a gender reveal party obviously has that one big difference: the big reveal. But what if you have no idea where to start planning the party" No worries; you are in the right place.
Ultrasound
In order to host a gender reveal party, someone needs to learn the gender. You can plan to leave it a surprise to you as well, but you will have to entrust a good friend or family member to attend the ultrasound with you. That same person will also have to help plan the party. Either way, you should schedule your ultrasound way ahead of time. There is always a chance that the baby will be in a position that is too difficult to tell what the gender is. This is what happened to my husband and I, but since we were happy to keep it a surprise we didn’t schedule another appointment.
Theme
