There’s a common misconception that weddings have to be bright, neutral, or packed with tradition. Newsflash, that’s not the case. We’re seeing more and more couples go against the grain, breaking those outdated wedding planning expectations–and it all starts with hiring your vendors, picking a color palette, and creating a mood board. 
While neutral weddings will always be a timeless aesthetic, it’s not for everyone. And if you’re looking for ways to make a statement, a bold color palette is the way to go. But remember, bold doesn’t always mean vibrant. Incorporating dark, moody shades—like black—is also a bold, unique way to set your wedding apart. Your wedding invitations set the tone of your big day. Being the first thing your wedding guests will see, your invitation suite is an important decision. You only have one chance to make a first impression, so make it a good one. And the key to doing that is incorporating black.
