How to Plan a Wedding While Pregnant
Planning a wedding is definitely an exciting time in your life?as is planning for a baby! But what happens when those two events collide" Does it make things just as exciting or double the stress" The reality is a bit of both. Generally speaking, being pregnant during your wedding doesn?t have to change your original plans much at all. However, there are a few things to consider doing differently.
Consider What Trimester You’ll Be in at Your Wedding
If you just found out you?re pregnant?congratulations! The first question on your mind may be whether to alter your save-the-dates. Depending on your due date, you may want to delay (or speed up) the process. While there?s nothing taboo about tying the knot with a baby in tow, you should take into account your well-being. For example, during the first trimester, you may be experiencing morning sickness. And in the third trimester, you might feel tired and be unable to stay on your feet as long as you?d like. Things should be pretty stable in the second trimester, so if your wedding falls during that period you won?t have to worry much at all.
However, if your wedding happens to fall too close to your due date and you don?t want to risk going into labor in the middle of the ceremony, you should strongly consider changing your schedule. Or if you?re brave, at least find out where the closest hospital will be to your venue and prepare an exit strategy!
