Indie boho city wedding at the Sandbox in San Diego
Happy Thanksgiving week, all! We must say, we’re pretty amazed by all the fall weddings we’ve seen so far this season. And to celebrate this most special time of year, Jessie Jean + Crowned Events dreamt up an eclectic design that mixed different styles, from neutrals and color pops to boho vibes in urban settings, all with an autumn feel. The SandBox venue in San Diego couldn’t have been a better spot for the theme:
Friend Flower Co. utilized lots of dried florals throughout as a nod to the changing of the seasons.
The team says, We knew that we wanted to showcase a Rue De Seine bridal gown since modernity and bohemian were two styles we wanted to bring together, which Rue De Seine does so perfectly. We wanted to create a look and setting for a bride that is true to herself, is willing to include unique and striking details as part of her wedding day, and doesn’t compromise her individuality for the sake of doing what is “normal” or traditional.
K, so dried palm and disco balls are officially a combo to watch… We dig it!
We played with bold colors that couples usually tend to shy away from and included fun details like disco balls, confetti, and silver animals as a fun twist. While we didn’t have a normal color palette, the main colors that stood out throughout the day were blue, orange, silver and brown. We included lots of dried florals as a nod to the ending summer and coming of autumn.
Always...
