Today’s featured wedding is so elegant and intimate – held in a private villa in Ibiza. Last week, we featured Sandra and Matt’s engagement shoot at the old Ibiza town. Now we’re featuring their wedding! Both photographed by Ana Lui.
What we especially like about the occasion is the bride’s hands-on involvement in the process – which includes a lot of pretty DIY stuff! The couple did most of the event preparations with the help of their friends and family and it turned out pretty nice.
We’re sharing some notes of the bride below on how she came up with the different elements of their special day kept to a budget.

“I designed the stationery set myself and my sister helped produce it using her Sillouete laser-blade printer.”
“For my dress, my mom embroidered a belt with Swarovsky crystals and mini pearl beads and I spent 20 hours doing my own veil: I bought all materials at Etsy and watched many tutorials at YouTube. It was a lot of work, but also very gratifying!”

“Don’t save on a wedding bouquet! When you look at the photos, it makes all the difference. Also, don’t save on hair and make-up artist! Your photos will only look good if you really look good!”
