Personalized Wedding Details
The eternal question that is prompted by all of the catalogues, online shops, and wedding magazines couples ponder is as follows: How do I make our wedding “our own”"
We chose to go the traditional route in a lot of ways, but these little details were super fun to execute and, in most cases, reasonably priced relative to the impact I hope they make. Read on for my little ?personal touches? roundup:
COCKTAIL NAPKINS. I think this may have been my first buy for the wedding! The napkins are foil-pressed in gold, and I love the traditional ?Just Married.? We included our hashtag at the bottom to encourage Instagram debauchery.
MENUS. Since we have a couple of guests with various food limitations, we felt it was best to fork over the cash for individual menus. These were a Minted purchase, as usual, and came out beautifully—I love the gold foil border, the text that evokes that “supper club” feel, and our hashtag again, because we?re all about branding over here.
PLACECARDS. While Minted certainly had placecards that went with our invitation suite, I didn?t want to go completely matchy-matchy, so Ben and I cruised through the other options. We chose these to echo the pinecone theme and the gilding in the rest of the table décor, as well as our invitations.
SIGNAGE. I made a guestbook sign and a couple of bar signs that explain our signature cocktail, and made sure to stick our Mae logo in there as well. I p...
