Katie and Tom’s DIY Mis-Matched London Warehouse Wedding by Annelie Eddy
Today I have a super cool London warehouse wedding to show you, as Annelie Eddy shares with us Katie and Tom’s wonderful homemade wedding day. Once Katie and Tom had decided that they were getting married in London, they knew it had to be the Tanner Warehouse. The industrial vibe of the place was perfect for their relaxed day, and it gave them the blank canvas they were looking for, along with a so many opportunities to use their DIY skills by adding their own personality into the wedding. With lots of help from friends and family, this wedding really is a true labour of love thanks to it’s many pretty details and amazing decoration ideas.
It was absolutely full of joy and laughter. It had lots of homemade elements that made it very special and personal.
Katie and Tom were married on 23rd September, 2017 at Our Lady of La Salette and St Joseph Church and The Tanner Warehouse, London Bridge. It was between a barn in Yorkshire where I am from or London where we now live. We decided on London but wanted something as relaxed as a barn so we decided a warehouse might be the city alternative! When we walked in to the Tanner Warehouse we knew immediately it was where we wanted to throw a party! They were so helpful and fun to plan with. We had 115 guests to the day and an extra 40 in the evening.
How they met
We met at drama school in 2008 and got together 2 years later.
The Proposal
It happened in Budapest, a place that we spent a lot of time in the beg...
