Late Summer Colorado Wedding Inspired by Old World Romance

Kate and Gregory wanted three main things at their Colorado wedding: good food, beautiful flowers, and fun music. Having the wedding at Kate’s parents’ house was a simple and obvious choice; it gave them access to the property’s biodynamic flower and herb garden, heritage apple trees, a beautiful pond, and 30 acres of open space with a view of the mountains. The team at Calluna Events helped brings Kate and Gregory’s dream wedding to life, and the couple’s friends and families helped DIY the decorations for both the ceremony and the reception. Photographer Rebecca Caridad captured every romantic moment from this late summer Colorado wedding.

Private Residence, Denver, Colorado
I wanted something simple, yet very romantic, lots of lace, and comfortable, since we were going to be outside all night. I loved my dress, it was a soft almond color underneath, with a gorgeous lace overlay. Olivia by Cicada, a designer out of Seattle. I kept my hair simple, braided but down, and some flowers in the back to tie the whole look together.
My wedding party wore a mix of crushed berry, sienna and wine colored dresses of different lengths. They picked their own, though I did go on some shopping adventures with a few of them. It worked so well in the end. The boys wore somewhat matching colors: deep reds, tans, and whites. They all looked so handsome.
It was easy doing it on my folk...
