Hello Friday and hello weekend! I can almost see it, it’s in touching distance! How about you, are you looking forward to the weekend" What have you got planned" Tomorrow for us it’s an afternoon spent with Nik’s family, Dexter is having a sleep over at his cousins house and he is super excited. I am looking forward to a night full of good food, wine and a chance to chill. On with today’s wedding and it’s the turn of Laura and John who were married on 20th July 2018 at Notley Tythe Barn, in Buckinghamshire with 75 guests. They had a fun chilled out day with a gorgeous outdoor humanist ceremony, followed by a reception in the barn. Kevin Belson was there to capture the day in all it’s glory.

How they met 

Laura & John met while both teaching abroad Theme or colour scheme

Laura and John had a humanist ceremony as they are not religious. There was a rustic outdoor festival style theme, with a decorative arch and hay bales for the guests to sit on. There was an emotional speech during the ceremony by John?s father remembering his late wife (John?s mother)

Food

Mexican food ? quesadillas. The Mexican theme continued into the evening with tequilas served with salt and lime.
Wedding cake

The wedding cake was made by a friend and she helped them to cut it.
