Layering Minimalist Touches For A Gorgeous Result

We structured our shoot around the principles of simple organic lines and fluid motion. These elements are mainly found in the ikebana-inspired floral arrangements from Steelcut Flower Co. and flowing gown from Alexandra Grecco. Each can stand its own, but unexpected details like the ghost droplets in the paperie by Quill & Co. and organic edges of the dining table add further depth without overwhelming. We aimed to have a minimalistic-looking design from afar but full of details and subtleties upon closer inspection.
Our venue, which used to be a library, was recently renovated while preserving its character and charm. We were especially drawn to the amazingly aged and textured walls, which served to be a grounding backdrop and focal point. Furthermore, since we chose an indoor setting for the cooler winter months, we wanted to find a way to keep the minimal design from looking overly cold and rigid. Shades of rusty pinks were tied together upon a foundation of golden hues found in the wood of the table and floors. Whispers of golden accents further embellished throughout.
