In light of all the frustration and confusion flying around the internet this week, I want to talk about something non-partisan and COMPLETELY fun:Â FOOD.

A few weeks ago, we took another whirlwind weekend trip to Chicago, where we did our catering tasting with Food for Thought. Now, I didn’t post about looking for a caterer, but for good reason—they’re the exclusive caterer for our venue. And they did NOT disappoint.
Now, one thing I forgot to do is take pictures…but the internet’s a beautiful thing, so I was able to find lots of other peoples’ snaps.
We tasted eight hors d’oeuvres, two salads, four entrees, about six desserts, a signature cocktail, and a late night snack—all RIGHT before hopping a flight back to LA. And can I just say…we were stuffed. So let’s get down to it: The Wishbone wedding menu.
1. The Signature Drink. We weren’t initially going to have a signature drink—a full bar will be plenty. But at the tasting (we went with my parents) even my mom drank her WHOLE cocktail—and that’s a big deal. She’s not a hard liquor person.
