Let?s Get Digital (with Our Save the Dates)

Did you find that you had a few lulls in wedding planning" Mr. Horseshoe and I took a bit of a break after we booked our ?big? vendors. We kicked up our heels and enjoyed the summer of 2015 with some camping, some hiking, and our first trip to Disney World. Yes, this bee is also a bit of a Disney fan(atic).

Our break came to an end around eight months before our wedding. We realised that it was time to tackle a couple of important tasks: finalizing our guest list and designing/sending out our save the dates.
Setting our guest list wasn?t too difficult. We decided to invite family members, friends that we see regularly, and partners/plus-ones. All told, we ended up with a guest list of just over 90 people. Now we had to spread the word to these guests. I hunkered down and started designing our save the date shortly thereafter. I was a little worried about our time frame, as most of the advice I?ve seen suggests that you send your save the dates at least six months before your wedding date—more notice is better if you?re holding a destination wedding.
We narrowed down two main delivery methods for our save the dates (aside from carrier pigeons, telegrams, etc.):
Mail a physical save the date card to our guests
Send a save the date by email
