Liz and Jonathan’s LA wedding at Millwick combined a sophisticated industrial venue with vintage botanical vibes! The couple was initially on the fence about having a wedding at all, so when they decided to take the plunge, they wanted every detail to personally reflect their own interests – and it totally shows! I was on the fence about having an actual wedding ceremony and reception in the first place, so it was crucial to keep both as true to “us” as possible. This meant keeping things low-impact, pretty minimalist, and making sure all of the details reflected our tastes and not someone else’s.
The ceremony was the most memorable part for both of us. We didn’t have a “first look” so the look on both of our faces as we saw each other for the first time was pretty magical. Jonathan teared up (he’s not a crier) and I didn’t think I’d ever be able to stop smiling after that moment.
