I have a real soft spot for Autumn woodland weddings, after all it’s exactly what my husband and I chose to do for our own wedding just over a year ago now. There is something so special about that seasonal golden light, the colour of the lush trees and the warm air yet with a slight chill in the breeze. It’s why more and more couples are choosing Autumn weddings, and quite often the weather is more settled and fair than in other seasons.
You can go two ways with an Autumn wedding, light and summery or cosy and candlelit. Today’s inspirational shooting chose the latter, and the results were magical. Think dripping luxe candles, nestled amongst rich bright seasonal blooms and metallic props. The couple looked exquisite in their boho 70s style attire and the dreamy stationery and striking cake creation really made a statement.
