Magical Mendenhall Glacier Wedding with Waterfalls and Wildflowers

After visiting when she was only 12 years old, Hannah fell in love with the raw beauty of Alaska. She and Charlie decided to say “I do” among the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, sharing that same exquisite natural landscape with their family and friends. The bride wore a delicate A-line gown that moved effortlessly in the wind of a nearby waterfall, and a pair of moccasin booties that allowed her to adventure freely in the glacier’s shoreline with her new husband. Photographer Joel Allegretto showcased both the newlyweds’ immense love and the diverse nature Juneau has to offer, from the rugged waterfront rocks to a field of romantic wildflowers.

Hannah and Charlie
The Wedding:
Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau, Alaska
Our ceremony was special because we actually sort of patchwork style-built our vows together, and they turned out just how we hoped. We did throw in a Game of Thrones reference at the end, which felt like the perfect way to seal the deal for us!
I had been to Alaska once before when I was only 12 and I’ve wanted to go back ever since. Charlie had never been and really wanted to go so we figured this would be a great way to get everyone back to that magical place together, and it worked!
