Well, not actually Maybelline—it doesn’t stick on my skin.
But yes, you guessed it, we’re talking about makeup. Namely, about my total lack of decisions on makeup.
I’ve got a few options: DIY, a “friendor,” or professional makeup. And there are pros and cons to each, honestly.
1. DIY. I do a lot of my own makeup for shows, and if I can do stage makeup effectively, I feel like I can do my own makeup effectively.
Pros: I wouldn’t have another person around while getting ready, which is honestly an introvert’s dream. Plus, I know how to do makeup that I’m comfortable in, that I feel like myself in, and that complements my extra fair skin.
Cons: I do my makeup a lot, but I’m not the BEST at it. When I’ve got no time constraints and am just playing around, it comes together perfectly, and in five minutes. If I’ve got an important event, I’ll mess up 12 times and make myself late. Every single time. Plus, I think it’d be nice to treat my bridesmaids to makeup—my sister especially, as she’s not the most adept—and this gets in the way of that. 2. Friendor N. A dear friend (and Hollywood makeup artist) offered to do my makeup for the wedding. She’s an invited guest, so she’d be around either way.
