Did you have a good weekend" What did you get up to" Mine was lovely, I managed to take all of Saturday off, so I could spend it with my 2 boys and we had a lovely time, so I’m all rested and ready for the full on week ahead of us! Today Jason from Photogenic Lab is taking us off on a wonderful trip to Colorado for the vintage inspired eclectic wedding of Meghan and Buba who were married on the 4th September 2016 at Hillside Gardens & Nursery. It’s a wonderfully fun and colourful wedding day, filled with vintage decor and a nod towards American Vaudeville, a theatrical genre of variety entertainment, from the early 1880s, also Buba’s love of hats was reflected with all the guest wearing some kind of amazing hat for their celebration. The wedding theme was inspired by the spirit, language and imagery of American vaudeville and variety show – which was reflected in the overall decor, including eclectic and colorful napkins hand-painted signs, lush and lurching flowers, and a vintage umbrella canopy. We had a lot of fun designing our wedding invites and programs and to reflect the language and style of the era. My friend Jeorgea Beck created a gorgeous note-tree for us.
