Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and braving this horrible very un-summery weather we are currently having. It has been very windy and rainy up here in Sheffield, not what you would expect for June, so I have been busing myself looking at holiday options for next year. If any of you can recommend a good family friendly hotel/resort about 2 hours flight from the UK, then please send your recommendations my way! Moving on to today’s real wedding and it’s a beautiful barn wedding in Oxfordshire. The wedding has a pretty pale pink and navy theme with lots of vintage inspired decorations. So many wonderful details and styling ideas, and as for the food truck for the evening reception……Oh yes! very nice! Big thanks to Kirsty from This and That Photography for the wonderful images. It was a perfect and magical day.

Melissa and Matthew were married on the 9th July 2016 in a ceremony at St Marys Church Kidlington, and followed at a reception at Stratton Court Barn, Stratton Audley in North Oxfordshire . ‘Melissa?s parents got married at this church and she was christened there. The reception we chose because it was perfect, Karin was amazing. We had 70 Day guests and 190 in the evening. The wedding took 8 months to plan.’

How they met

We met at work, after 3 months we finally made it official. We have not been together 7 ½ years.
The Proposal

Matthew took me to a spa for my birthday, Flowers, champagne and choc covered strawberri...
