Gray Tux for the Groom
One place that I have absolutely not been a bridezilla is in the area of what OTHER people are wearing. I?ve been uncomfortable in wedding garb before, and I know it impacts your whole experience! I told my sister to find a gray or black dress that she liked, and gave my mom free rein altogether.
When it came to Benjamin, I was a little more hands-on—but not much. I know next to nothing about menswear, so I just browsed a little online and then we went to Men?s Wearhouse together. I had seen this Vera Wang tux online and really liked it, but Ben was lukewarm.

Did you even know that the main difference between a suit and a tux is just the presence of satin" Because I did not. Until just now, when I Googled it. Anyway, we got to the shop and Ben pointed out a mannequin wearing a tux that he liked. Joke?s on you, ol? chap, because that?s the Vera Wang I originally suggested! He tried it on and it was just lovely. It reflects the gray we?ve used elsewhere and feels fresher than black.
The khaki shorts really work here, I think.
His best man will dress likewise, and I asked my dad to wear the gray suit he already has. DONE AND DONE.
Were you involved in menswear selection" And am I the only one who thinks all suits and tuxes look the same"!
