SoCal Cakies, have you been to Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara" It’s such a dreamy setting with the perfect mix of boho and modern. Erika of Wild Heart Events played into that for Meagan and Kendell’s micro wedding, with an organic design that highlighted their love of the area. Their story: Designer Erika Bellitt created an ethereal and bohemian style with a modern organic twist. With the scope of their wedding changing as new rules and regulations came into play, we wanted to make sure their design would elevate the event as a whole but also create the intimate and fun setting Meagan and Kendell wanted from the start of the planning and design process. The natural design elements of the Hotel Californian and collaboration with such a talented vendor team, we were able to bring their vision to life, even after going from a 120 person guest count to 25!

As guests were invited to the rooftop for the wedding celebration, they were greeted with champagne and a view of the beautiful Santa Barbara coastline. Ceremony was composed of jute round rugs lining the aisle and Tulum inspired floral pieces that Katie from Going Steady Studios created with textural palms, florals and grasses.
