Every inch of Stephanie and Carter’s Coronado wedding elevated the idea of a classic wedding with a modern twist. Pink Pineapple Event Design carried out Stephanie’s favorite color palette of black and white with a touch of gold for a timeless look, using tropical leaves as accents, which brilliantly complemented the venue’s own styling. The bride knew she wanted something a little different for her gown, and her stunning beaded Needle & Thread dress was the perfect statement for saying “I do.” Before heading into their elegant reception, the newlyweds got comfortable with photographer Brandi Potter for a few romantic portraits in the courtyard as husband and wife.

Our colors were black and white, plus gold details — a timeless color scheme which also happens to be Steph’s favorite. It’s the perfect mix of mod and classic.

I knew I wanted my dress to be unique, but I wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking for until I found it. I feel in love with the detail of this dress. I especially loved that the white beading in it complimented my bridesmaids’ dresses.

During our ceremony Carter‘s grandfather read a prayer that has been read at Burke weddings for three generations. It was the sweetest part of our ceremony!
