Modern graphic warehouse wedding at Airship37 in Toronto
When the bride is a talented graphic designer, you know there’s bound to be some amazing wedding DIYs involved, like this industrial chic ceremony backdrop inspired by the bride’s fave designer, Alexander McQueen. Jess doesn’t consider herself a girly-girl at all, so while she was into the idea of a blush color palette, she knew it had to have a little edge. She and Peter came up with a black, white, and blush design that included modern, graphic elements and luxe decor. The blank canvas that is Airship 37 in Toronto ended up being a killer spot to adorn with *all* the above. And did we mention that these two said I Do on their 10-year dating anniversary" Thanks to Rebecca Chan Weddings & Events and photog Avenew Studios for sharing the deets below!
BTW, this sweet dress" Jessica tried on 40+ gowns in Toronto and nothing came close. Perhaps that’s because this romantic Riki Dalal design with a mermaid silhouette and tulle skirt was nothing like the gowns she thought she’d be into. It also came with a beaded top that she wore with white wide leg pants for her reception look.
