Modern wedding inspiration with dramatic florals
Just because it’s spring doesn’t mean we’re putting moody wedding designs away for the season. Actually, a moody color palette like the one in this shoot from Alexandra Wallace is made even more romantic when adorned with spring florals, don’t you think" See what we mean below!
Infinitely cascading bouquet, check!
Korinna of Le Festin Events designed this white, more traditional ceremony space to contrast with the dark color palette of the rehearsal dinner (though it could totally be a reception, too) shown below. Love how both designs work together!
Korinna of Le Festin Events explains, Featuring gorgeous rehearsal dinner tables using black, grey, greens and silver, with our take on a lush Ikebana table, Ricardo of Elegant Details Floral and Event Design handcrafted a unique, flowing bouquet for our bride, and Whitnie of Paper Cake Events created a textured cake for the more traditional wedding.
Have you guys heard of Ikebana style before" It’s a Japanese style of floral arranging that utilizes vertical designs that focus not just on the blooms, but on leaves, branches, and stems too. So neat!
