After yesterday’s fall desert editorial and these Frida Kahlo wedding ideas, we’re seriously digging all the ways brides and grooms can incorporate a bold red color palette into their big days. In this nomadic bohemian wedding shoot Alexandra Wallace and Sandcastle Celebrations sent our way, an old gypsy wagon discovered in the township of Old Edna became the basis for a vibrant, floral-filled celebration.

The project began with a beautiful array of local greenery to complement the gypsy wagon. Eden Floral foraged local and home-grown blooms for several days to fill the wagon. Showcasing the local foliage that grows wild on the central coast, Racheal filled baskets with unique blooms. She is known for her extraordinary, organic bridal bouquets. Pairing conventionally grown and foraged greenery and flowers created fresh, bountiful bouquets. The bridal bouquet included pincushion protea, home grown daffodils, African wild flowers, garden grown sweet peas, fava bean blossoms, and tulips. The gorgeous bridal bouquet was tied with hand dye silk ribbons from silk and willow.
The Wild Harlow gown by Rue de Seine from Moondance bridal boutique complemented the design. It’s a timeless wrap dress with a semi-fitted bodice and dramatic bell sleeves.
