Ocean Size Love: The Days in Cancun
Random side note: We got our first look pictures back last night, and most of me just wanted to skip everything and post those right away. Eeeek! They?re amazing!
A few people decided to make the trip to Mexico even longer than just the four days in Tulum and came down early or stayed a few days after to make it an even longer vacation! There was quite a large group of Mr. Stingray?s family, my family, and some of our friends that stayed in Cancun for a few days leading up to the wedding. Most of us stayed at either the Hyatt Zilara or the Holiday Inn Arenas, but there were a few people staying at other places or bouncing around a bit. Mr. S and I, his sister, brother, and cousin, and a few of our friends stayed at the Hyatt Zilara. And man was it FANCY. A bit too fancy for me, but amazing nonetheless. We all used credit card points to stay at this all-inclusive for a few days—but more on that later.
Cancun was beautiful. The beaches were gorgeous, and I might be a bit biased because of where we stayed, but everything was wonderful. The Hyatt was awesome—they had pretty good food and a wide selection for an all-inclusive. The drinks were delicious, especially the sangria with a shot of tequila (best friend Cake Baby made that one up). The view from our room was incredible, and we could hear the ocean waves crashing at night. It was so much fun to just be on vacation with my best friends. It was absolutely incredible.
Most of the gang!
We flew into Cancun ...
