With all of the crazy dancing, we had no concept of time, but somewhere around 10:00 PM our wedding planner?s assistant came up to us on the dance floor and asked us if we wanted to do the bouquet and garter toss. Mr. S put on quite a show—it was pretty hilarious. There was much more fight for the garter than for the bouquet. Bridesmaid Lizzy caught the bouquet!

My dad tried to sneak in there with the ladies catching the bouquet!

Cakebaby?s boyfriend worked hard to catch the garter. Look at that dollop of his drink splashing out! That took some skill!
We kept dancing until midnight, and then everyone was in for quite a surprise. Mr. S had this plan up his sleeve for a looong time, and I had no idea. To be honest, I was a bit nervous when the DJs stopped playing around midnight and announced that everyone was to gather on the lower part of the beach for the surprise. Mr. S is quite the prankster, and I couldn?t imagine what he had in store. We all filed down to the beach and sat in the chairs they had placed in a circle.
Then a man starting playing the drums. There was fire and music and dancing and?I?ll let the (FREAKIN’ AMAZING—Amber is so talented!) pictures do the explaining.

They were so incredibly talented, it was absolutely amazing. Everyone loved the surprise—it was the perfect way to cap the reception and begin the after-party!
