Before I interrupted your regularly scheduled recap with a details post about our wedding day, we left off with us and our fabulous, fun bridal party down a trail in the woods. Before I jump into the beginning of our ceremony, IÂ wanted to share some photos with you that I sort of hesitated to share at first. As a bit of introvert who is shy and self-conscious about pretty much everything, it is really hard for me to love, or even like, photos of just me. While I will share the crap out of a photo of Mr. Blue Moon and me (I mean, he’s so handsome), or myself in a group picture with family or friends, I am really not about being photographed by myself. Though our photographer includes a separate day for bridal portraits (another popular Southern wedding tradition) in most of her packages, I firmly vetoed it because I just couldn’t imagine anything more horrible than spending hours being photographed by myself, being told how to pose, and (potentially) screwing it up with all of the weird and awkward stuff I do. Though I know Amilia would have done a lovely job, bridal portraits with anyone sounded like a special form of torture to me.
