I’m interrupting your regularly scheduled programming to talk about some of my favorite details of our wedding. Detail posts have always been some of my favorite of the blog posts, and I’m so excited to share some of our special details with you all! We were able to incorporate a lot of our random ideas thanks to spending so long in the planning process. I think our venue and planning team executed our vision so perfectly, and I could not have been happier with how it all turned out!
Here’s a photo of my wedding shoes with my mom’s toe clips from her wedding day. I ended up hot gluing these bad boys on because people don’t really sell toe clips anymore. No shame.
We both really wanted to do the church building justice, because the congregation has recently fallen on some difficult times after the loss of their pastor, an old family friend of Mr. Blue Moon’s grandparents. In addition to our donation for use of the building, we opted to leave our floral arrangements behind for the congregation to enjoy during their worship the following Sunday, a pretty traditional gesture where I’m from, but one that was important to us nonetheless.
