Once in a Blue Moon Love: Two Become One

After the readings were completed, our officiant asked us to join hands, and I handed my bridal bouquet off to MOH K.
Getting to finally grab Mr. Blue Moon’s hands was such a relief because (a) I had been longing to do so the entire time up until now, and (b) my feet were really starting to hurt in my heels, and IÂ was grateful for the extra balance.
Wedding Vows
When we met with Steve, we asked for fairly traditional vows where we would repeat after him, but with a spin on them that was truly us. IÂ really did not want to be under the added pressure of writing personal wedding vows (instead, we sent each other letters before the ceremony started), Mr. Blue Moon is old school and traditional anyway, and besides, we fully trusted Steve to come up with beautiful words that would reflect us. I mean, he has known me my entire life, and he has known Mr. Blue Moon for six years. We did not ask to hear the vows he chose before the ceremony, so this moment had a huge emotional impact on both of us. We were both hearing and speaking these words for the first time. I, Mr. Blue Moon, take you, Miss Blue Moon, to be my wife. All that I am, I give to you. All that I have, I share with you.
