Bridesmaids Pre Ceremony
After finishing up our before-the-ceremony photos, I piled into my parents’ car with my youngest brother, Groomsmen S, who is in high school, and complained mightily about how my dress was taking up most of the back seat (some things never change). Mr. Blue Moon, his family, and the rest of our wedding party carpooled over in various combinations ahead of us, with two groomsmen making quick stops to pick up their dates. As you might imagine, we were all running a few minutes behind at this point, and a few of our guests beat us to the church.

Once we arrived, Mr. Blue Moon, our officiant, and Best Man L were hidden away in a room behind the altar. Our other groomsmen were set in the front entry to seat our guests. Our wedding planner, Adriel, whisked my bridesmaids and me into the nursery at the front of the church to await the start of the ceremony. This nursery room was awesome because it contains a one-way mirror looking out at the sanctuary space, which we were greatly entertained by as we watched the guests arrive. It was also pretty fun for selfies.

Of course, some of our guests told me later that they could kind-of-sort-of see us behind the one-way mirror. Oops.
