While you look at Jess and Ryan?s nuptials this morning, you could easily mistake their Victorian-inspired wedding for a period romance movie. Think pearls, vintage books, touches of gold, snazzy attire and plenty of florals, all against the backdrop of the beautiful Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle.
Guests knew from the moment they received their ?first class ticket? invitation that this would be an elaborate affair and they were asked to ?come in style? and don ?fancy hats?.
The bride and groom both looked spectacular – Jess, in her floral tulle gown (and – gasp – those gold Louboutins) and Ryan, in his dapper suit. Add to that, their fabulous costume change for their choreographed first dance. Is it just me, or does this make you totally want to take up swing dancing lessons" It?s hard to pick favourite aspects of this incredible day, as there are so many to choose from, but my heart melted at Pompie the Ring Pup in his little black suit posing for photos with his parents! The dessert table with countless goodies, including the extravagant wedding cake, French macarons, tarts and eclairs looked positively scrumptious. Friends and family, wearing their theme-appropriate hats and fascinators, danced up a storm and posed for photos with the happy couple. What fun!
