Photographer Julia Madden Sears captured this shoot with the majestic rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop!

From the photographer: I wanted this to feel as if a mermaid ran away to get married in the mountains, shouting celebration to all the good parts of late summer. It’s intended to marry the wild and unabashed nature of landscape and full throttle-love with the softer, quiet moments that carry you through such an intimate day, as well as highlight some of the lesser known charms of the south and small southern vendors.
