OK OK, so it is still November I know. BUT as we are well past Halloween and Bonfire Night, I think we’re officially allowed to chat all things festive… yes" I am an organiser, list writer and bargain hunter through and through. So there is nothing better in my mind then to have my Christmas spreadsheet all ticked off by December, that way I can relax and just enjoy the holidays.
With that in mind Etsy got in touch to see if we wanted to write about what makes Christmas special to me and my family. I jumped at the chance, because I am a Christmas geek to be honest. Well, it’s not really the actual day that really gets me, but the lead up, the excitement and all the little traditions we have started and kept going as a family. For me it’s all about our two little boys, the joy on their faces, their excitement and of course, the magic.

I have experimented with different Christmas decoration themes in the past, but when it comes down to it, I love the traditional colours, natural materials and personalised pieces, which in time become heirlooms.
Every year I also love making  my own Christmas wreath, it is always a highlight of the season for me. For the first time ever I am going to a workshop held by a florist and I cannot wait already.
