It’s been quite a while since I did a personal post here at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and you know what" I’ve really missed it. After all this is exactly how this blog started and I think it’s about time I come back to do some lifestyle blogging again. So what better way to kick things back off than with a feature all about our family summer holiday to Woolacombe. It’s a place my husband G has wanted to come back to after holidays as a child and I have been reluctant as I haven’t been a fan of travelling or indeed holidays for a long time now due to anxiety. However I have a feeling all that is about to change as we had the best week ever in North Devon last week. We drove down on the Monday and what should have been a 4 and a half hour journey turned into a 6 hour drive. Boo! However we arrived eventually to our static caravan in the Surf Village at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park in the late afternoon (this isn’t a gifted or paid for trip in any way by the way). The caravan was spacious and quiet with all we needed for the week. Hooray! I chose the park as we have never been abroad, so I wanted a place with an outdoor pool for our boys (4 and 9) if the weather played ball to give them a real summer holiday vibe. Plus it was pretty close to Woolacombe beach, I’d say between 5-10 minute drive, we didn’t attempt the walk though! Sponsored Ads
