Kate and Robin are conservation scientists and their wedding featured some eco friendly credentials, which we totally appreciate here at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings. They opted for sustainable options and nature inspired elements to reflect their love of marine and forest life. Isn’t that just wonderful" They were married on the 24th August 2017 at The Green Cornwall, which enabled them to marry outdoors in the woodland, before celebrating in the contemporary barns.
Living aboard in Cambodia and Tanzania during the planning, the pair opted to rely on technology and the assistance of those back home to organise everything, no mean feet, but it all worked so beautifully as you can see. Their vision was a bohemian low fuss style and it suited the location to a T. Take Kate’s bespoke gown with floral top, so boho beautiful! I love that she went barefoot with sweet foot accessories as an alternative to heels. Robin’s relaxed look consisted of an open collar shirt and waistcoat combo, which looked really awesome. The hanging origami cranes on the walk from ceremony to reception really looked pretty and must have been just perfect to walk through.
