I love photos. I can spend hours looking through old photographs, and I knew that finding a good photographer would be a priority for our wedding. I?ve been told on several occasions that our wedding day will be a blur, and that we?ll want a good photographer to capture the details we may breeze past as we celebrate.
We began the search for our photographer by figuring out what our preferred style of photography is. Not sure what yours is" Miss Dreamcatcher posted an awesome breakdown of popular photography styles.
Mr. Horseshoe and I figured out pretty quickly that we loved fine art, dramatic shots?

I became acquainted with Paul McGrath from PMG Image through work. Paul is an incredibly talented individual who is a storyteller as much as he?s a photographer. I mentioned Paul to Mr. H as soon as we started talking about wedding photography.

We didn?t want to put all of our eggs into one basket, so we checked out a couple of other photographers in Calgary just to be sure. Paul still came up aces with his ability to capture both artistic/dramatic shots and more organic, candid ones.
