?We love nature and being outside, so it was clear to us right from the start of planning, that we would like the biggest part of our wedding ? reception and party ? to be outside. We found the perfect place in the quiet village of Serre di Rapolano in Tuscany.”
This was the couple’s vision for their wedding – and they were able to pull it off wonderfully!
What made it more special was the fact that Sevi and Rainer were very hands-on with their wedding.
A few days before tying the knot, they took over Poderre Fineri, an old farm house that was turned into accommodation with a lovely pool and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. Their family, friends and the owners of the place helped in preparing the details and putting everything together for their big day. A nice little touch to the occasion was their bespoke present for their guests – a piece of driftwood with an engraved message “life is a journey” which they spent a lot of time searching for in their home at Vancouver.
