Pop Art inspired LGBTQ wedding editorial
If you love color, you’ll be enamored with the concept behind this wedding Leah of Color Pop Events and Taylor & Hov dreamt up for us today: A juxtaposition of colors, textures, and shapes all came together with neo-pop and modern art inspired elements for their real couple, Sabine + Madin, who do amazing work in the LGBTQ community here in Los Angeles and beyond (see ProjectQ + A Tribe Called Queer for more deets). They flew out to Brooklyn to bring this vignette to life at the coveted Green Building NYC. Thanks to Mikkel Paige Photography for the vibrant photos below!
Madin?s two looks included leather suspenders + a colorful bowtie and Neo-Pop inspired cufflinks, and silver pants + a black evening shirt for the reception.

Sabine wore a silky white cowl-back gown for the ceremony and swapped it for a pop of red for the reception (see our gallery for a closer peek!).
The team tells us, The industrial dinner table’s white top was purposeful, allowing the art pieces to shine?whether literally, as red laser-cut mirrored dogs served as escort card bases or, subtly, as coloring book paper served as a table runner. Paintbrush stroked dinner plates in color popping hues were a true focal point of the table that tied the colors of the beautiful blossoms in a grand floral centerpiece in with the art.
