Think of an English country garden wedding and it’ll come pretty close to this glorious summer celebration this morning. Think quintessentially country marquee set in lush gardens with a pale pink colour palette. Dreamy.
Matthew and Lucy were married in a church service followed by a marquee reception in the grounds of Ampfield House in Hampshire. Their classically beautiful day was perfectly informal, yet in keeping with traditions which were important to them. The fresh blooms were in delicate pink and cream tones and consisted of roses, peonies and eucalyptus to name a few. I especially adore the floral arch outside of the church, so gorgeous! The styling and decorations were kept simple in neutral colours, with a white cake, craft paper details, bunting and chalkboard signs. Lucy wore the gorgeous Stardust by Suzanne Neville, a gown adorned with sequins and beading for real wow factor. Matthew donned a navy suit and blush tie, which coordinated perfectly with the elegant bridesmaid dresses. Fabulous.
