Dan and Rachel are gracing us with their stunning Doxford Barns wedding today, which was held on the 21st September 2019 in Northumberland. Their day was one filled with happiness, fun times and was also family focused. All elements that make for a really special, memorable celebration.
They had beautifully soft colours and decoration in the rustic barns. With pretty festoon lights, candles, blush silk fabric and divine flower centrepieces. In fact the flowers were one of my favourite elements of their day, I think Rachel’s bouquet is just lovely. I have a feeling you are going to love the stylish attire, the semi naked cake and the chic table plan too.

The Proposal
We were going away to Paris for Rachel?s 30th Birthday which is on New Year?s Day, the night before I gave Rach her present as we wouldn?t have time the next day. Her gift was just a card and a cheap cushion from Tesco with a stain on it. Knowing the clean freak Rach is I knew she would have to take the case off to wash it almost immediately (after thinking what an awful gift but trying to be polite about it of course). When she took the case off she found I had made her a cushion with a picture of our pets (Dog called Maggie and Horse called Oscar) both stood next to signs reading will you marry me.
