Puffed Up with Love: All the Pretties!

All photos in this post are from the incredibly talented and ridiculously funny Kelly Phillips. / Kelly Phillips Photography
In my last post, I mentioned how having our group and couple shots taken before the ceremony gave Mr. Puffer and me time to wander around, hand in hand, and look at the decorations set up at the Mansion at Valley Country Club. Now I?m excited to share all the details with you!
Flowers, Flowers, Pretty (Heavy) Flowers
I adored the bouquets and boutonnières Fern at Belles Fleurs created. I just didn’t realize how heavy bouquets are! Mine weighed a ton…and I wouldn’t have changed one thing about it. Fern captured perfectly the organic look I wanted.
The famous bees! I was so honored to carry the bees with me on my wedding day.
Some other touches: my little puffer fish, charms with photos of my grandparents, and best of all, the pearls my mother wore on her wedding day.
The ladies’ bouquets were equally beautiful. As a surprise for them, I asked Fern to include charms that spoke to their personalities and what I appreciated about each of them.
The guys’ bouts were beautiful as well, as you can see here in the photo of GM L (pictured with his quite dapper two-month-old son, attending his second wedding already).
Puff’s bout featured a calla lily instead of a rose. Honestly, it was absolutely stunning.
The “Take Two” Cake
If you recall, after we chose our cake design I started second-guessing the look....
