Following our first look, we gathered the rest of the wedding party to do group shots before the sun set?and more importantly, before the first of the guests started to arrive.
Photographer Kelly Phillips kept everything running smoothly and quickly?which was greatly appreciated because, although we had a beautiful, sunny, relatively warm November day for a wedding, the wind was fierce and chilling us all to the bone.
Until we were all standing together, I didn’t realize how large our wedding party was!
Then it was the bridal party’s turn:

The guys agreed to some dignified poses but also had fun with some goofier shots (some of our favorites):

Then the families got involved. First up: my family.

And just as I came to the realization that keeping a sincere-looking smile on my face was the most difficult thing I’d ever done in my life, Kelly moved us indoors for even more photos.

The flower girls’ faces pretty much sum up how we were all feeling about getting our photos taken at this point.

A LOT of photos, and you only saw a small percentage. But all jokes aside, I’m glad Kelly captured so many great shots that we can enjoy and share with family and friends.
