Puffed Up with Love: Show Time

Nearly everyone?Mr. Puffer, my mom, his mom, other family members?thought our fairly traditional wedding required a fairly traditional processional song. I tried a few unexpected arrangements, such as songs from the Vitamin String Quartet, but in the end we went uber traditional and processed in on Pachelbel?s “Canon in D.”
The order of entrance, however, had to be tweaked a tad based on our somewhat nontraditional wedding party.
The best men and groomsmen processed in first, along with officiant Sandy Queen, as a group.
In keeping with the Jewish tradition, Mr. Puffer was escorted in by his parents.
This smile never fails to make my heart beat harder:
On my side, my two brothers, or ?bridesbros,? escorted the two lovely maids of honor, R and A.
The kids came next. We had BM S shepherd them, since two is still pretty young.
We asked FG J to help out the younger kids, and she led the charge down the aisle. According to guests, she made it down to the front in about 10 seconds, much to the enjoyment of everyone watching (a great example of why I love seeing kids at weddings).
Next up: FG N, showing off the flower crown and basket my mom created. (N was so excited about being a flower girl, she started picking petals off flowers in the venue’s flowerbeds before we could explain that we had her petals covered.)
