We’re huge fans of the great outdoors here at Whimsical Wonderland Weddings and know many of you guys are too. So of course we wanted to share Antony and Rebecca’s outdoorsy festival vibe wedding held on Tuesday 2nd August 2016 at Chaucer Barn in Norfolk. Their venue allowed them the best of both worlds, a cosy and rustic barn, a woodland setting for an outdoor ceremony and a spot for a fun yellow stripe marquee. Oh my!
Lightening Photography was on hand to capture all the fun and frolics, not to mention that touching ceremony. I really adore the free spirited portraits in the field too, they are just so special. The focus of the couple’s décor and styling was the surrounding nature, so they kept everything simple and low key. There was a splendid naked cake baked by Antony though, plus lush vibrant pink florals. The focus instead was on entertaining. WWW faves Warble Entertainment supplied the band, acoustic musician and caricaturist, which really got the party in full swing. I must also mention the marvellous outfit choices. Rebecca fell for a Halfpenny London lace gown and together with her maids, they all donned pretty flower crowns. Meanwhile Antony opted for a tweed ensemble complete with mismatched groomsmen by his side. Awesome!
