To celebrate the slightly warmer weather the East Coast is enjoying, let?s talk about flowers! I have very mixed feelings on the budget-busting subject of flowers. Part of me can?t get enough of these gorgeous beauties. I could look at them all day, and I adore fresh floral scents.

But the practical side of me can?t get over the fact that flowers die and you are left with nothing to show for it. I wouldn?t buy a piece of furniture that was pretty for a week and then became ugly and broken, so why are flowers any different" Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde much, Miss Dreamcatcher" This is exactly the reason I have yet to book a florist or decide what I want to do about flowers. Yikes.

The first option I looked at was getting them through a local grocery store or Sam?s Club bulk floral. The grocery store quote came in a little cheaper than others, but not as much as I had hoped. Buying in bulk is typically cheaper for everything, so they can offer more affordable pricing than the average florist. This option involves a lot of DIY, however, and is definitely beyond my craft skillz (arranging flowers is so much harder than it looks, y’all!).
