One of Mrs. Mouse‘s favorite aspects of planning her Austin, TX wedding was choosing the music that was to be played during dinner. She and her husband had a strong vision of what they wanted their guests to hear, and it was far from what you’d typically expect at a wedding. It was important to them to set a dreamy tone to their wedding, filled with fuzzy guitars, minor keys, local artists, and indie bands…with a few unexpected classics thrown in for good measure. Describe the vibe of your wedding playlist: Dreamy indie pop with a few rock classics
What did you want your guests to feel when they heard the music at your wedding" We wanted the feel of the songs to shine through rather than worrying about the lyrics. So we included songs that were meaningful to us and gravitated to shoegaze and slightly off-beat indie pop.
What were the biggest hits or misses" We had no complaints, and in fact had several people tell us the music was perfect for us.
