The Story
We got married on a Wednesday afternoon in a big old barn near the sea. We had our closest friends and family and had the most relaxed day we could have wished for. Our theme was vintage, rustic, travel, and the British seaside. Everything was DIY and “budget.” I wore a vintage style tea dress, the boys wore tweed, and the girls wore dusky pink gowns. We had a simple non-religious ceremony, then we all drank Pimm’s and lemonade in the garden. We sat and ate fish and chips, followed by flake 99 ice creams, both delivered by truck. Then we danced the night away with brief pause for cheese and port.
