A very warm welcome to Babette and Pete today who are sharing with us their divine Harewood Forest Wedding in Hampshire. They had a super relaxed, fun and colourful celebration in the heart of the woods.
There is so much to love about their day; the dried flowers, the colourful rag bunting, the stylish outfits and of course, the huge smiles all day long. One of the moments which looked so amazing has to be the moment Babette and Pete got up on stage to perform for their guests, and I just love their song choices.

The Proposal
My husband got offered a position in Italy shortly after Brexit. As such, I could only be added to his VISA if we got married. After a chat with the immigration lawyers, Pete came into the bedroom where I was napping with an ear infection! He dragged me into the lounge, got down on one knee, and produced the most beautiful ring that he?d been saving for months. I cried, said yes, and called my family and friends.

The Vision
I just desperately wanted to frolic through the woods. I imagined A Midsummer Night’s Dream, full of colour and life.

The Ceremony & Music
