Romantic Pretty Pink Wedding
I have to start this feature with a mention of that proposal. Simple yet personal, and all achieved with a piece of sparkly red ribbon. You can read the story in their lovely report at the end.
WWW readers Laura and Andrew were married on 27th June 2015 in the same church as Laura’s parents and grandparents, which was so special. They then headed to Oldwalls Gower in Wales for their pretty reception. Their vision was a dusky pink old world feel wedding and it was pulled off to a T. Their day was kept simple with DIY touches throughout but the focus remained on the important moments.
These two have so much style. I mean just take Laura’s swishy dotty tulle gown by Stephanie Allin, it’s a beauty and Laura looked stunning. Andrew went for a simple navy suit adding a pop of fun with the cute bow tie. Dancing, love and a lot of smiles. The best. THE PROPOSAL | Andrew: I proposed on Christmas Day in 2014. Laura loves Christmas and her favourite Christmas film is Arthur Christmas, so I took inspiration from a scene in the film. I draped one end of a red sparkly ribbon starting from her bedside all the way downstairs to the Christmas tree where I was waiting for her on one knee.
