When you’re a planner + designer living in a place as beautiful as Liguria, Italy, you reeeeally want to show it off. The region’s unique seaside landscape is what inspired Martina of Bianchi Weddings to dream up a romantic elopement with an unconventional color palette and lots of natural textures. As you can see in the photos The Wedding Tale sent our way, it all works in perfect harmony with this gorg coastal setting.

They set up at the stunning private beach at Eco Del Mare Resort, a boutique hotel, in the bay of Il Golfo dei Poeti (?The Poet’s Gulf?).

Martina says, From the day I started planning this shoot I knew I wanted macramè for the ceremony backdrop, and the girls from Mahramatun made it possible, creating this stunning arch that our great floral designer Sara Cattaneo adorned with lots of beautiful blooms. I imagined a table setting with warm and rich colorful accents, as the beach with its neutral colors was the perfect background already. The unusual color combination of the flower arrangements paired perfectly with the vintage tableware and natural linens from Heyfoo.
